My journey has been anything but ordinary. I once struggled with insecurity, unsure of who I was as a person with a disability, constantly told I would never achieve my goals. But I refused to let those voices define me. Instead, I chose to embrace my unique identity, knowing that my strength lies in my authenticity. Today, I stand as a confident woman who has transformed my struggles into a source of power and purpose.
As a leader and pageant titleholder, my mission is to be a beacon of hope and a living example that anything is possible when you have the right support, encouragement, and belief in yourself. Through REAL Queens United, I’ve made it my life's work to empower women from all walks of life, creating a sisterhood where we can rise together, share our strength, and embrace our true selves without fear of judgment.
I am living proof that, no matter where you start, with resilience and love for yourself, you can achieve greatness and inspire the world around you.

Whether it's through my platform or my role in Student Affairs, I am committed to helping others realize their dreams—especially those who may feel overlooked or underestimated. My mission is to create spaces where everyone can thrive, be celebrated, and reach their full potential.
Hi! I’m Michayla the founder of Real Queen’s United.
My Story
Growing up with a disability, I didn’t see many people like me achieving the kinds of goals I dreamed about. It often felt like there was this unspoken message; that being a woman meant I should shrink myself, and having a disability meant I should settle with societies expectations. For a long time, I believed success and confidence were things that belonged to other people.
Pageantry completely changed that for me. It gave me a space to rediscover my voice, my confidence, and my worth. It wasn’t about the crown, trophies, or sashes; it was about realizing that I deserved to take up space and that I could inspire others to do the same. That’s where REAL Queen’s United was born. A space for women to show up as their real, unfiltered selves, to build each other up, and to know they’re not alone in their journey.
Then came AlignHER Consulting, my way of helping women bridge the gap between who they are and who they’re meant to be. I wanted to take everything I’ve learned, from overcoming self-doubt to navigating barriers, and use it to help others align their purpose, passion, and profession. At the heart of everything I do is one belief: Women deserve spaces where they feel seen, supported, and unstoppable; no matter where they come from or what challenges they have faced.
In November 2025, I welcomed my beautiful daughter into the world. The moment I knew she was on her way to the world, I wanted to create a life that felt more Aligned with my new found identity. I went from struggling with my mental and physical health to a strong woman ready to show my daughter what an empowered and confident woman is. My daughter’s arrival became the inspiration behind AlignHER Consulting; because every woman deserves to live a life they love!
